  1. What a great easy meal. My husband made and put in the crockpot, and it was ready when I got home. We loved it! Thank you.

  2. I have been on a hunt for a swiss steak like a childhood friends mother used to make for us and this has been years and years of searching. This recipe sounded rather similar to what I remembered. I made the recipe as written with the one exception of not having the diced tomatoes with the garlic, oregano and thyme so I added those seperately. It was easy to put together which I loved since being disabled the easier the better. The flavors melded together nicely. For my personal preference I believe the next time I make this I will use crushed tomatoes and finely chopped onions and thicken the juice with a little cornstarch at the end. Thanks for a tasty dish Kitty.
