  3. Finally, something besides the same old Ranch crackers! I didn't have oyster crackers so I used saltines and they still came out great. The fiance was amazed at how good they were, and I can't wait until my teenage son gets to them--I'll have to make more! Some of the chili cooks at the cookoffs serve a cracker similar to this, but it has more chili powder and cayenne. You know how we Texans like it hot! I've looked and looked for that recipe and can't find it, but this comes very close. Thank you for sharing it, this will be a standby at my house from now on!

  4. Fabulous! One of my DS's loves tacos so this was an instant hit with him. I did add some roasted minced garlic to this, since I'm partial to garlic. Thank You!

  5. I love oyster crackers! I can eat them plain, but I had to try this recipe. They were great! This makes alot, so be sure to use an extra large bowl to have some shaking room. If you use a bowl with a tight lid, these will last a good while.(Mine lasted 2 weeks before I ran out!) They were good as a snack, but I thought they were really good with a bowl of plain tomato soup.
