  • Combine the tomato paste with the water in large non-reactive pot.
  • stir until smooth.
  • Add cayenne, chilli powder, salt, corn starch, and vinegar.
  • Bring to a hard boil, stirring often. Boil for 3-5 minutes. remove from heat. Cool then refrigerate
  • (if desired use sterile jars, rings and lids for hot water canning method for 20 minutes to make shelf stable. Once jars are opened be sure to refrigerate!).
