Taco Seasoning

- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 5 teaspoons paprika
- 4 1⁄2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 3 teaspoons onion powder
- 3 teaspoons salt or 3 teaspoons seasoned salt
- 2 1⁄2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

- 1 lb ground beef or 1 lb chicken
- 2⁄3 - 3⁄4 cup water
directions
- In a bowl, combine dry ingredients and store in airtight container in cool dry place for up to 6 months. This recipe will make approximately 3 batches of tacos.
- Cook beef over medium heat till no longer pink and then drain.
- Add water, and 1/2 cup of seasoning mix. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, simmer for 10 minutes uncovered.

Made for Spring PAC 2013 to use in seasoning the ground beef for a taco salad. Very tasty. I do have some left and I think I will add some dried oregano (for our taste) but definately easy and a great recipe to use spices I have on hand. Thank you for posting. -
