  1. Brown hamburger/turkey and chopped onion and drain. Add meat and onion to large pot (I use my stock pot). Add all the other ingredients. Bring to a boil and then turn on low and simmer for about thirty minutes. Serve by itself or you can top with a little sour cream and cheese -- Great with french bread.
