Tahini Chews

"Don't be afraid of the nutty flavor that comes tahini. The unique flavor will remind you of peanut butter. This cookie is a wonderful cookie to try if you are looking for something new. Tahini can be found in some grocery stores and most whole foods stores."

  1. Great cookie! To answer the other chef's question: tahini and honey don't require egg to bind, they make a mix that bakes up nicely without binder. These were perfect, not too sweet. After 15 minutes they were perfectly chewy. Thanks for posting! Made for Healthy Choices ABC.

  2. I haven't made these but am wondering what holds these cookies together? It seems like they would crumble apart without an egg or some other binder.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT BAKING!! I love being in the kitchen, mixing up new recipes, and old ones. I love to see the reaction of peoples faces. I even enjoy making a bad recipe, because i learn from my mistakes, and then just a try a different recipe.
