- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 (13 1/4 ounce) can pineapple chunks in juice
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1 (12 ounce) can Spam
- 1 cup green bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
directions
- Mix brown sugar and cornstarch in a sauce pan. Add water,juice from canned pineapple and vinegar; cook until thick. Cut Spam into 1 inch cubes and stir into sauce. Add pineapple chunks, cut bell pepper into 1 inch chunks and add into the sauce. Keep cooking until hot; at least 10 minutes. Serve over hot rice.
