  1. really great, I just wouldn't put any onion or garlic in this, very bad for dogs

  2. OK, so garlic CAN be toxic to dogs. However, it has positive benefits such as being a flea repellent. You should check with your vet first. Onions shouldn't be given to dogs. So, I made this with a carrot and no garlic (made a different treat today with garlic)...Charlie (my pup) loved it! It was for his birthday, so he got to lick the spoon and bowl. I think he'll help me in the kitchen more often now :). He gives it 5 stars and I also give it 5 stars for it's ease in making!!! Thanks!!!

  3. just FYI, onions, which you mentioned in your recipe, are toxic to dogs. They contain thiosulphate, which cause the dog's red blood cells to burst. I would recommend trying this recipe with another vegetable, and I intend to try it myself, just not with onions!

  4. Dogs should NEVER be given garlic as well as other household flavorings/ingredients. You might as well flavor it with antifreeze. Just because they eat it doesn't mean it's healthful.

  5. My doggie loved these!!! I made them w/carrot and mozzarela cheese, they were nice and soft. My mom told me she even snuck one and said it was too good to give to the dog!!!

I am a single gal, living on my own; currently working as an Occupational Therapist & living in Cumberland, MD. (It is "God's Country" out here...beautiful!) I LOVE to cook and bake, and love anything that looks, tastes, smells, or even closely resembles a veggie. I LOVE moo-cows, and therefore, cannot bring myself to eat any part of the adorable critters (i.e. NO RED MEAT!!) I love the outdoors, and pride myself on being the master griller on the fire pit. My mother's side of the family is 100% Polish, so I have an inborn passion for cooking...unfortunately, along with that comes a love of eating, too!! But, hey..u only live once, so I say "EAT, DRINK, and BE MERRY!!!"
