"My favorite food on the holiday menu is cranberry sauce, and I kept trying to find the perfect blend. I put together this recipe in 1989 and have used it ever since."

  1. Nice relish for the holidays! It was enjoyed. I thought it was a little tart for my tastes but the others seemed to enjoy it, so I'm giving it 4 stars!

  2. great recipe - just didn't add the nuts. Outstanding!

  3. I love cranberry sauce, and Sherri's recipe is a keeper! It was fun to make, and I thought the flavors were perfectly aligned. The nuts and ginger make it special. No one flavor overwhelms another. I enjoyed it with Baked Chicken Breasts Supreme (#61781). Thanks Sherri!

  4. Absolutely the best I have ever made. People carried the receipe home. They loved the thickness of this cranberry relish. I think it needs more sugar.

  5. I made this delicious sauce for Thanksgiving dinner and most of the other people at the table probably would have given it five stars...I'm giving it four because although I don't like overly sweet things, I did think this could have used another tablespoon of sugar :) Thanks for a great recipe!

Living on Cape San Blas, America's #1 beach is great - we have sugar white sand, emerald green water, fabulous fresh seafood, wildlife all around, and even what we don't have makes life good: no crowds, no traffic jams, no high rises, no crime. But since we also have virtually no restaurants either, we're into creating great meals at home for friends and neighbors. Since we're always exchanging recipes, I started an online cookbook of our fave recipes, http://CapeSanBlasCookbook.com. For a taste of what's cooking on Florida's Forgotten Coast, I hope you'll stop by and take a browse.
