1. We really enjoyed this recipe. I substituted a tiny bit of maple syrup for the sugar. I warmed up the dressing in a saucepan before pouring over the broccoli to make sure it didn't cool down the dish. Liked the flavours, thanks for sharing.

  2. PAC Spring 2008 ~ Loved the idea of roasting the broccoli along with the Asian flavors. Will roast my broccoli more often now!

  3. Outstanding! I skipped the ground ginger and oil in the dressing, and doubled the amount of broccoli (for 2 people), so that the dressing would be very subtle, which was perfect for us. We loved the combination of the roasted flavor with the tang of the lemon!

  4. Delish! I love Asian dressings and this was really good. I think I might even add some fresh minced ginger next time. It was a simple preparation and very tasty. Thanks Jean R.

My husband, Paul, and I enjoy travel, good food and spending time with family. We have six fun, busy kids (blended family). I adore greyhounds but don't currently have one. They are sweet, calm dogs. I can highly recommend adopting a retired racer. Update - We did recently adopt a Staffordshire/Shepard mix from a rescue group. He's lovable and sweet, though needs to be much more active than our old greys did. I have lived in California, Pennsylvania, New York, Oregon, Colorado, North Carolina, Austria (you know, The Sound of Music) and Germany (ahh Bavaria!)
