  1. Yummy! We made these for breakfast this morning and they are really good! I doubled the seasonings (we like zest!). Easy and very tasty!

  2. I have made these before with the addition of 2 T. chopped garlic. , and I sprinkle them good use lemon pepper... They are sooooooooo good... Thank you for the great recipe!

  3. This recipe has potential. I prepared a batch carefully following the instructions carefully. After cooking on both sides at med. heat (not low as specified), the fries were crispy at best. Perhaps a par boil or covered cooking will get these fries cooked properly. On the plus side-they were very tastey, and I may cook the onions all by themselves for a tasty, semi crunchy, side dish. Tweaks

  1. SO GOOD. Kids don't like onion, so I added 1/2 tsp. onion powder instead of onions. I also cut the pepper and paprika by half. Really nice.

  2. Excellent! Instead of so much black pepper, I used some chili powder, and they were great!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
