Tasty Tuna Noodle Casserole
"Easy one-dish meal. This was a nice change. We have chicken and beef so often. My mom used to make this all the time when I was a kid. I just never think to make it. I guess you could also classify it as a great comfort food."

ingredients
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup or (10 3/4 ounce) can 98% fat-free cream of mushroom soup
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons chopped pimiento (optional)
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrot
- 2 (6 ounce) cans canned tuna, drained and flaked
- 2 cups hot cooked egg noodles or 2 cups noodles, of choice
- 2 tablespoons dry breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
directions
- Mix soup, milk, pimiento, peas/carrots, tuna and noodles in 1 1/2-quart casserole.
- Bake at 400°F for 20 minute or until hot; stir.
- Mix bread crumbs with butter and sprinkle on top. Bake 5 minute.

Made this tonight. My usual TNC is always dry, so I wanted to try an actual recipe. I used only 1 can of soup, which was enough. I also added 1/4 cup sour cream and a tsp. of prepared mustard to the mix. Also small amounts of salt and pepper. It turned out wonderfully, but I could have omitted the bread crumbs and butter. Next time I will try potato chips or fried onions, but there will definitely be a next time. Nice and creamy. GREAT! -
Very good dish and easy to make. The only thing I did different was add some sauted onion, I used 1/2 soup and 1/2 sour cream, and added some pepper and paprika. Thank you for the recipe. -
This was quick, easy and yummy. We especially liked it as it did not make a huge casserole. Had a little leftover, but not enough for another meal, which was great for us. I liked the variation of using both peas and carrots. -
Yum! Very tasty. Family enjoyed it. Will make again. Didn't hve peas & carrots used green beans. No pimiento, so used sun dried tomatoes. Will try with peas and carrots and piniento next time. Quick and easy too.

Hello! I am a resident of WA state, and I must say I love it here.... especially where coffee flows so freely! I live with my SO, Mark, and he has lived here since 2001 (originally from San Diego, CA). We live a quiet life and enjoy just about anything outdoors.
I love to travel... sometimes just to pick a spot on the map and make a weekend out of it. Since I have been here, some of my favorite places to visit are Oregon and Washington (Cle Elum, Leavenworth, Spokane, Bonney Lake, Maple Valley, Issaquah, etc). My favorite place in Seattle is Pike Place Market, even though I don't get there often. And, Mt. Rainier is a scene I often photograph.

There was a question posted in one of the forums about who I would love to have for dinner, right now. I answered God, Jesus, my mom, Grandma Lundin, Grandpa Lundin and Aunt Sig. They are my role models in life. Each has molded me into the person I am now.
My fondest memories are spending Thanksgiving and Christmas-time at my Grandma's house, and the whole family around. SO MUCH good food!
I lived in that small city my whole life and graduated from high school just outside of town. I have a strong restaurant background.. everything from Pizza Hut to a local italian restaurant called Vullo's. It seems, though, I have a passion for machining technology, even though I didn't go to school for that. I grew up with a local manufacturer of machine/tooling systems soldering/wiring circuit bds and assembling whole systems. That wasn't enough for me so, I went to college and obtained my AAS in Electrical Technology. The same company hired me back to work in their service dept as a technician. I had planned to go further to become an electromechanical engineer for the company, but I was laid off. I have been out of it so long, I would probably have to start over from scratch.. .that is the problem with electronics/technology.
