  1. There are a lot of recipes for tater tot casserole but this is the recipe I remember from my childhood. This is one of my husbands favorites and he often asks me to make it for him. This is usually a kid pleaser too. Just simple, classic comfort food. Thank you so much for posting.

  2. Very good recipe and very good meal. We all liked it for a good meal in the tummy. I used Tator Crowns. Very good comfort here. Thank You for sharing with us. Hugs

  3. I've made this exact recipe for years....a huge favorite in our house. I think the only difference is that I stand our tater tots upright...we cram them in. ;) Great tried and true recipe!!

  4. Sprinkled some House Seasoning in with the meat and tossed in some green beans. Made a great quick lunch on a really cold day, thanks!

  5. Everyone at my house was a little skeptical about this because of the few ingredients, but WOW! This was fantastic, full of flavor...a definite comfort food. I didn't measure out my cheese, because I think you can never have enough so I just put a thick layer on. Next time, I think I may use more than 1 lb of meat...maybe then I will have leftovers!! Thank you so much for this!
