Tater Tot Casserole

ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1⁄4 cup chopped onion
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup of grated cheese (I prefer the shredded Velveeta)
- 1 (2 lb) bag frozen tater tots
directions
- Cook beef and onions till beef is brown.
- Add soup and cook till soup is mixed throughly.
- Pour into a casserole dish.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Layer a single layer of tater tots on top.
- Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes till tater tots are nice and brown.

Everyone at my house was a little skeptical about this because of the few ingredients, but WOW! This was fantastic, full of flavor...a definite comfort food. I didn't measure out my cheese, because I think you can never have enough so I just put a thick layer on. Next time, I think I may use more than 1 lb of meat...maybe then I will have leftovers!! Thank you so much for this!
