Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 lb ground beef or 1 lb ground turkey
  • 10 ounces cream of mushroom soup
  • 6 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 23 lb frozen tater tots (1 bag)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 12 small onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices cooked bacon (optional)

Directions

  1. (optional) Cook bacon.
  2. cut onion and garlic.
  3. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  4. mix onion into the ground beef/turkey and brown.
  5. drain excess grease and mix in garlic.
  6. Mix together ground beef, cream of mushroom soup, salt, and pepper.
  7. Pour mixture into the bottom of a foil lined medium casserole dish (8x8).
  8. Cover top with shredded cheese.
  9. place even rows of tater tots over the entire dish.
  10. sprinkle italian seasoning over tater tots.
  11. Bake in oven for 1 hour, or until tater tots are brown on top.
  12. If after 1 hour, the tater tots are not brown, set oven to broil and watch closely until tater tots are browned (check every 1-2 minutes).
