  • 12 slice pork tenderloin
  • 6 slice bacon
  • 85.04 g package coating mix, Shake 'n Bake
  • 12 skewers, wood

directions

  • Tenderize meat by pounding out to 3" squares. Skewer on 1/2 slice of bacon to each slice of tenderloin; shake in breading mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35-45 minutes. Do not overcook.
  • TIP: Ask the butcher to slice the tenderloin and run them thru the tenderizer. This will save you lots of time.

  1. I didn't tenderize it, but it didn't need it. Tasty, and a hit with the Peanut Gallery. Served it with mashed taters, gravy and applesauce. Quick, delicious and perfect for the work night.
     
  2. Easy to make and tasty. I soaked my wooden skewers for one hour in warm water, and substituted recipe #108410 #108410 for the coating mix. Served with French fries and cole slaw for dinner. Another favorite for my recipe binder!
