"Teriyaki marinade for chicken, steak, or pork. I got this recipe from a restaurant when I was in my late teens. We used it on flank steak in the restaurant, but I have found it works great for chicken and pork as well. Meat is best if grilled over a very hot flame. I cut the meat into smaller pieces to shorted the marinating time."

ingredients

2 lbs chicken, Steak or 2 lbs pork
¹⁄₂ cup soy sauce
¹⁄₂ cup honey
1 cup pineapple juice
2 teaspoons minced garlic, cloves*
2 teaspoons garlic, powder*
garlic, can be adjusted to taste

directions

Mix all ingredients in a non-reactive bowl.
Place meat into a gallon plastic bag.
Pour marinade over meat and seal bag.
Place in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight depending on thickness of meat.
