"I have never tried this, but have a bottle of sorghum in my pantry from our food swap (2), so I needed to find some uses for it! This site is a great way to store recipes I want to try!"

Serves:: 6-8

ingredients

1 pie crust, in pie pan (9 inch)
5 eggs
¹⁄₃ cup sugar
1 ¹⁄₄ cups pure sorghum molasses

directions

In a bowl beat eggs until smooth.
Add sugar along with sorghum, and beat for 1 more minute.
Pour sorghum mixture into pie shell.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Let cool before serving.
