Cake
- 236.59 ml water
- 59.16 ml cocoa powder
- 236.59 ml butter
- 473.18 ml sugar
- 473.18 ml flour
- 118.29 ml sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 4.92 ml baking soda
- 2.46 ml salt

Topping
- 236.59 ml butter
- 59.16 ml cocoa powder
- 88.74 ml evaporated milk
- 453.59 g powdered sugar
- 236.59 ml chopped walnuts (optional) or 236.59 ml pecans (optional)
directions
- For the cake:.
- Combine the water, cocoa powder and butter in a glass bowl, microwave on high for 3 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix until smooth. Pour onto a cookie sheet and bake for 18 minutes in a 350 degree farenheit oven.
- For the topping:.
- Microwave the butter, cocoa powder and evaporated milk on high for 3 minutes.
- Add the sugar and nuts.
- Mix with a hand mixer until combined well.
- Pour on the cake while still warm.
