Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 12 cups water

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Spread rice in a shallow pan with sides.
  3. Bake in oven stirring often until rice becomes golden colored.
  4. Cool.
  5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  6. Place rice in a casserole dish.
  7. Add salt and water.
  8. Cover dish.
  9. Cook 30 minutes in oven.
  10. Serve with butter.
