  1. A lovely way to fix pork steaks. The meat came out nicely crusty, and I used only a stove top grilling pan! Would definetly recommend this recipe. Thnx for posting, Auntie Mags.

  2. Loved this ! I have heard of pork chops but not steaks here in NL, and thought it was just my lack of knowledge so asked DH to pick these up today from the butcher.. he phoned me at work and told me that Dutch butchers don't *have* a cut of meat called pork steaks ! so I made this with chops instead and it was great ! DH put them in the fridge to marinate most of the day and the flavour of the ginger and papkrika were good, nice strong flavours. I was delighted that I could grill these because I didn't need oil or anything ! Please see my rating system: 4 stars for a great recipe that I will be very pleased to make again. Thanks!

I have been cooking ever since I can remember. I'm always experimenting with new recipes and new ingredients. Life is too short to make the same thing twice! I'm an author living in Ontario, Canada with my husband and two picky kids. We will be moving to Savannah, Georgia in the next year so I am honing my Southern cooking skills (although I may NEVER get my husband to like collard greens). I love all the great recipes and info on 'Zaar, and look forward to being more active here.
