  • Toast bread, if desired; spread both slices with mayonnaise (I also like to put some sweet mustard on it).
  • Layer turkey, cranberry sauce, cheese, and lettuce on one slice of bread and top with second slice.

  1. this IS really good - i don't put the cheese on, though - and i shred the lettuce if you don't have cranberry sauce, you can use a good jam or jelly, too - like tiptree morello cherry... and you can use chicken all through the year instead of turkey -

  2. this is also good with stuffing on it

  3. This is absolutely the way that I make my leftover turkey sandwiches, not an ingredient changed! (Right down to the touch of mustard...) I think it's the perfect combination of flavors, too. My co-worker Amy puts thin slices of Granny Smith apple on hers but her cranberry sauce tends to be a bit sweeter. I like the tarter cranberry sauce without the apple.

My most important characteristic is this: I am a child of God through the gracious work of Jesus Christ! I love to be with my family and friends. Interests? Writing, reading, cooking, dancing, teaching, splashing in puddles...I am an English teacher, wannabe children's author, and a bit of a health nut...and I can't stand high pitched squeaky noises.
