The 2nd Brussels Sprouts Recipe on Recipezaar

- 3⁄4 lb Brussels sprout
- 2 large shallots
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1⁄4 cup water
- salt and pepper
directions
- Slice shallots and saute in 1 T butter for 10 min in fry pan.
- Add 2 t sugar and 1 T vinegar and saute 3 min until browned. Remove from pan.
- Cut brussel sprouts in half lengthwise, then slice lengthwise into 1/8" strips.
- Add remaining butter and olive oil to pan. Add brussel sprouts and saute 6 minute
- Add 1/4 c water and saute until evaporated.
- Add shallots back into pan and stir.

I believe you're wrong in thinking there is only 1 other recipe on Zaar for Brussels sprouts ~ Well, there is only 1 for Brussel sprouts, but quite a large number for Brussels sprouts! But, be that as it may, you do have a recipe that makes for a very nice tasting side of these buggers, & as much as we love 'em, I'd be happy to make your recipe part of my sprouts rotation!
