Directions

  1. In a medium to large saucepan melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add fresh minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add the cream cheese and whisk until smooth and melted.
  4. Whisk in the heavy cream. ( I have substituted half & half.)
  5. Season with the garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper.
  6. Bring to a simmer and whisk frequently until sauce thicken, around 15-20 minutes.
  7. Stir in the parmesan cheese.
  8. Remove from heat when cheese is melted.
