- 3⁄4 cup milk, slightly warmed
- 6 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 large egg, slightly beaten
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1⁄4 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons active dry yeast
directions
- Measure ingredients into bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select the dough setting. When cycle is complete, remove the dough from the machine.
- Divide the dough into equal parts and roll into balls. Place on lightly greased baking sheet.
- Cover dough with a damp cloth and let rise in a warm place for 20 minutes or until double in size.
- Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Brush tops with butter.
