The Best Hot Chocolate Ever - No Sugar

"I love chocolate, but sugar is so bad and addictive for me. I find that it fulfills my cravings. Everyone I have made this for swears it is the best hot chocolate that they have ever had. They are always surprised to find out that it has no sugar. The fact that it is pure chocolate is what makes it so good and so fulfilling. I created this myself for me, but I am sure other people have thought of this too."

  1. NOT No sugar, but no sugar *added* about 13g of sugar per serving - depending on your milk. Don't be fooled into drinking this and thinking there is no sugar/carbs in this. Diabetics beware! My attempt didn't turn out very well, but I used a dark chocolate cocoa powder and it was too strong.

  2. Tasteless and watery.

  3. I'm on the South Beach Diet on phase 1, and this really hit the spot for a sweet treat. I added a little extra splenda because it was still pretty bitter with the amount in the recipe. I also used all non-fat milk. YUM!

  4. I made half the recipe for a very easy and good mug of hot chocolate to warm up on a cold morning. Thanks for posting. Made for Zaar Cookbook Tag.

  5. This is PURE comfort in a mug! I optes to use 2 cups of lowfat milk as I need all the calcium I can get. I also had Cadburys drinking chocolate as the cocoa. I added an extra packet of splenda as well. SO, so good! This will be nade OFTEN!!!

I love to find recipes that are addictive and yet healthy at the same time. I am a SAHM and I am always looking for easy and yummy recipes to cook. My mother's side of the family is lebanese, so I cook quite a bit of middle eastern foods. When I rate foods, I only give five stars to foods that taste addictive, are healthy and look attractive and appealling.
