  • 4 slices ginger, roughly 3cm x 2mm thick
  • 50 ml jim beam whiskey
  • 20 ml lime juice
  • 15 ml sugar syrup

  • Muddle the ginger in a bar glass or shaker.
  • Half fill with ice, add the rye whiskey, lime and sugar.
  • Shake, strain into a tall glass full of ice, top with ginger ale, garnish with a lime wedge and serve.
