Leslie, This recipe is a wonderful base for cheese grits. It's more of a souffle with the addition of the eggs and that's exactly what we wanted for dinner the other night. We often make cheese grits as a side dish for dinner and I love trying new recipes. Last night we had grilled fresh, whole red fish on the Big Green Egg that DH had stuffed with fresh rosemary and Kosher salt, lemons and lots of freshly cracked black pepper and extra-virgin olive oil. Wonderful! Thanks for sharing.
