4 1/2 stars with way more sugar, more water as some evaporates and as a preference less simmering time when the tea (I used Lipton Yellow Label tea bags) is in the water but the rest of the ingredients besides garnish can simmer 15 minutes for us. I like the slivered blanched almonds in this of which I used blanched and slivered store bought ones rather than making my own, which was OK. NOTE: Qahwa is coffee in Arabic not tea but I see what happened, "qahwah (also spelled qehwa, kehwa or kahwa) is a traditional green tea recipe that originates from Kashmir. It is made in parts of Kashmir administered by Pakistan and India, as well as throughout various regions of the countries." Wikipidia. There is a lot of Indian influence in Oman. I may make this again.
