The Realtor's Small Sized Garlic Pull Apart Bread

"There are alot of recipes out there for this quick and tasty bread but they all make a large bread that's just too much for my small family. I created this yummy version for those of us who need a smaller "loaf". It's the perfect size for 2 adults and 1 or 2 kids. I make mine in a small heart shaped springform pan. My daughter just loves it and my husband wolfs this down fast."

directions

  • Preheat the oven according to the directions on your biscuits. They vary for some reason.
  • Spray a small bundt pan, springform or a regular loaf pan with non-stick spray. If using a springform, cover the outside bottom with foil because the butter will leak out and smoke in the oven (and smoke your WHOLE house up- this happened to me the first time I made it).
  • Melt the butter in the microwave in a bowl large enough to hold the biscuits.
  • Add all of the spices and cheese to the butter and stir.
  • Cut the biscuits up into 4-6 pieces and add to the butter mixture. Stir them up to coat them all real good. I always end up using my hands cause they stick together.
  • Put the biscuit pieces into the pan so they're lumpy, bumpy but spread out evenly and bake for approximately 25 minutes or until nicely browned and done in the middle.
  • Run to the table with everyone chasing you. If you don't run, they'll be gone before you get to the table!

  1. This has been a favorite for years. I just melt the butter in the bundt pan while the oven preheats, swirl the melted butter around to coat. Just toss the biscuit balls in the dry ingredients with some crushed garlic and drop in pan bake at 350 22 to 25 mins. So good with a warm marinara.

  2. Excellent! I made this in a glass pyrex bowl; 25degrees lower than the biscuit tube specified. Took a little longer to bake, but made the nice pretty shape that I was looking for! :)

  3. Such a quick and tasty way to enhance refrigerated biscuits!!! I made 1/2 of the recipe to serve with your Recipe #361518 and a pasta recipe, Recipe #306964. The whole family enjoyed the bread. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for PRMR Tag Game.

  4. I made this to go with my dinner this evening. I wouldn't give this 5 stars simply because I really don't care for canned bisquits and this only proved my dislike was real. I will be trying this recipe again, but will use homemade bisquits instead. This is a really great idea for young people learning to cook, and who are working as it is simple and has a great flavor. Thank you for a great basis to a good bread. Made for KK's Chefs Picks.

  5. Super easy and very good. My husband ate half the loaf by himself. Made for KK's Chef's Pick.

I'm a full-time Realtor for Century 21 Graham Realty during the day and at night I'm a wife and mother of one 6 year old daughter, Angelina plus one small dorkie dog (dachshund-yorkie mix) named Petey. I love to cook and experiment with new recipes. I've been collecting cookbooks (I have a few hundred) and recipes for as long as I can remember. I like to buy recipe boxes at yard sales and auctions and peak through them for yummy recipe gems. I've found some really amazing recipes that way. I'm a huge fan of Le Creuset enameled cast iron cookware. I've been collecting different pieces for a few years now. I always considered myself a great cook but these pans raise things to a whole new level. I'm planning to post all of my favorite recipes that I've collected over the years. I have all these clippings and pieces of paper and magazine clips that are everywhere. My recipe boxes are packed with these things and it's time to organize the whole mess. I suppose it will take years (did I say years?!?) to get them all posted but it's worth it. So keep checking back to my posts for new goodies. I can't wait to see what long lost gems turn up. I've already run across several of my old favs. Isn't it nice to have all your best recipes all organized right here? I've also been printing them out and putting them in a nice new binder where I can actually find them when I want to make them. I LOVE this site. I have found some of the best recipes EVER right here on 'Zaar. There are some fantastic cooks here and I just want to say "Thank you" to all of you who have made me look like the greatest cook on the planet with your wonderful recipes. I try to make as many new ones each week as I can. It's so much fun experimenting. My DH of 9 years is my guinea pig- he will eat ANYTHING I put in front of him. My little girl... well, she's more of a challenge to please. Not really picky but she doesn't really like meat or stuffing or peppers or mushrooms or.... oh, the new one is onions. I could go on but you get the idea. You probably have or had one just like her. They seem to learn all about these things that they don't like at school. All of the sudden...they don't like something they've been eating for 3 years because their friend "Alyssa" doesn't like it. What a challenge it is feeding these little creatures! That's her and Petey in the picture above. <img src="http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r317/j_welcome/pics2/food/PRMRcopy.jpg"> <img src="http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e110/flower753/Food/soup_banner.jpg"> <img src="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj81/HokiesLady65/Recipezaar%20Album/iplaytagin.jpg"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v726/annacia/pt-shutterbug-banner-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a132/tgifford/Game%20Room%20Banners/AM%20Banners/holidaybadge.gif" border="0" alt="Photobucket"><img src="http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a132/tgifford/Game%20Room%20Banners/AM%20Banners/potluckpbanner.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/7505/mybanner4a394ee84d5f0.jpg" ><img src="http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a132/tgifford/Game%20Room%20Banners/AM%20Banners/ZaarStar-AMBanner.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a254/Sharon123/Copyoftag300-banner.jpg" border="0" alt="Susie's Banner for Newest Zaar Tag"><img src="http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j166/ZaarNicksMom/Animation6.gif"> <img src="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj81/HokiesLady65/Banners/holidayprmr.jpg"><img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/Holiday-plaid_HPI.gif"> <img src="http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y22/dcmac/PAC%20Fall%2009/Image1.jpg"> <img src="http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg271/MrsTeny/Permanent%20Collection/PACSpring09Participation.jpg"> <img src="http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg271/MrsTeny/Permanent%20Collection/PACSpring09Iwasadopted.jpg"><img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/participantbannerzwt5.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"><IMG src ="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z205/jubespage/cupwitchanimation-small3.gif"> <img src ="http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u208/diner_photos/lazymecookathon.jpg"> <img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c105/jewelies/picwJT0Wr-1.jpg"> <img src="http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj81/HokiesLady65/Banners/AMBadgeGenTP2009.jpg"> <img src="http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j166/ZaarNicksMom/PACsticker-Adopted.jpg">
