The Ultimate Apple Pear Crisp

"This is the BEST version of apple crisp I have ever tried. It is undoubtedly due to all the sugar; however, absolutely to die for in moderation. This version comes from a classic apple crisp recipe but with my own little twists!"

directions

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • In large bowl, toss together peeled and sliced apples and pears with white sugar and 1 tbsp cinnamon.
  • In separate bowl combine all remaining ingredients.
  • Spray 9x13 baking pan with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  • Pour half of the apple/pear mixture into baking pan.
  • Sprinkle 1/3 of the crumble mixture on top of the apples and pears.
  • Layer remaining apples and pears on top and add the rest of the crumble mixture. (I like to sprinkle the top with a little extra brown sugar and cinnamon for extra flavour -- not that it needs it!).
  • Bake in oven, uncovered, for 40-50 minutes.
  • Cool and serve solo or with vanilla ice cream!
