The Ultimate Guacamole

"I've never made guacamole with jalapenos before, and I really liked it. In fact, I'd probably use extra next time for more of a bite. The only thing I noticed about this recipe was a teaspoon of salt was too salty (only an opinion). It gave me an excuse to throw in an extra avocado and make a little more guacamole. I still didn't have leftovers so you might want to double or triple it. This recipe came from Country Living. Serving size is estimated because it wasn't listed."

  • Place the avocados and lime in a medium bowl and lightly mash with a fork.
  • Stir in the remaining ingredients.
  • Serve immediately or cover and chill for up to 3 hours.

  1. I was very disappointed because this recipe looked like it was going to be awesome until I added the salt and pepper. Admittedly, I did not use kosher salt, which may have made a difference, but both the salt and pepper flavors were so overpowering that they almost completely ruined the dip for me. I'd suggest using about half as much salt and pepper as it says here, or less.
