directions

  • dice the potatoes in 1 inch cubes, i preheat my skillet and melt the butter. Then put all potatoes in the skillet and let cook on medium heat until tender about 25 minutes. i sprinkle with the garlic salt while the potatoes are cooking in the butter. They should not look fried, just a little firmer looking like if you had boiled them for potatoe salad. Hope you enjoy!

  1. Enjoyed these with our breakfast for supper meal! Don't change a thing. Thank you LaceyLou for posting.

  2. I am always looking for new potato recipes, and these were delicious! These were like a cross between a fried breakfast potato and one cooked and then topped with a butter sauce. I did use some fresh minced garlic as well, adding about 2/3 into the cooking time so that it didn't get to brown and turn bitter. Very enjoyable side with a nice grilled steak last night! Thanks for sharing! Made for PAC Spring 2012.

  3. These were easy to make but I really cut down on the garlic salt and I still thought they were really salty. I only used about 1/2 tablespoon and just sprinkled on some seasoning salt. I made with bbq chicken. Made for Spring PAC 2012
