“Easy basic recipe for thin-crust pizza. Makes enough for one round 16" pizza. Has a sweet flavor, but not overly so. The milk gives a distinctive flavor as opposed to water-only. Just leave out the milk and substitute an equal amount of water if desired.”

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 12 cup water
  • 12 cup milk
  • 12 of a standard 1/4 oz. packet yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cups bread flour or 2 cups pizza flour
  • 1 tablespoon oil (olive oil, vegetable oil, etc.)


  1. Mix sugar, milk, and water in microwavable bowl. Heat to fairly warm but not hot temperature. Stir in yeast and let sit for a few minutes till it foams up. Combine with rest of ingredients, kneading in extra flour as needed if it's too pasty. Let dough rise in a warm place for an hour or so.
  2. Spread it out on a greased pan, bake for 10 minutes, remove. Throw on your favorite pizza sauce (or try my "Super-Easy but Tasty Pizza Sauce" on this website), an 8 oz. package of shredded cheese, and optionally any other toppings. For a more healthy meatless pizza, slice up black olives for an extra topping; it's good! Bake for another 10 minutes or until done.
