  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, pepper and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, butter and egg.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir only until moistened.
  5. Fold in the onions and cheeses.
  6. Fill greased muffin cups two-thirds full.
  7. Bake 16-18 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center of muffin comes out clean.
  8. Cool 5 minutes before removing from pan to wire rack.
