  2. Add sugar and beat until sugar is disolved.
  3. Add egg yolks one at a time, beating after each addition.
  4. Sift flour and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add flour and raisins (alternately), stirring well after each addition.
  6. Beat egg whites then fold into dough.
  7. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350F for 45 minutes.
