- A few days before, tear bread into small cubes. Allow to sit out to stale up.
- Combine all ingredients except bread in frying pan. Saute slowly until vegetables are slightly transparent.
- Stir in bread cubes until all are coated with butter and ingredients are mixed evenly.
- Stuff into bird at both ends. Skewer openings closed.
