Tiki John's Rum Runner

"This recipe comes from the Holiday Isle in Islamorada, Florida. I have been there several times and always had a blast. The recipe was printed on the cups they served them in when outside. I have had one of the cups forever and a day so I would not loose the recipie but the cup has seen it's better days so I thought I would post it on here."

  2. When I got to the Keys in 1971,I had the privilege of sitting with Tiki John quite often. This drink although taste nice and sweet is deceptivley easy drinking and should be drank with caution.I'ts too good.We used to pitch in and buy a 2 qt. glass pitcher then pass it around drinking from the pitcher.Very different. Unfortuneately they don't make them by hand anymore, they use those machines and are lacking in flavor. You must make your own and I know you won't be disapointed.....Chef Jim By the way,John never drank these. He was a rum drinker,Don Q Gold and coke.If you can find this rum you'll never drink that B word again.
