  • To make your smoker you will need. 1 Large tin cookie can. 1 Piece chicken wire.
  • To prepare your smoker, take the lid and punch 6 small holes. Layer the bottom with your wood chips. Then spread the thyme, sage, and basil on the chips. Put in your piece of chicken wire. Take your salmon fillets and place on the chicken wire being sure to avoid touching the edges. Put the top on and place your loaded tin can directly on the stove top at medium-high heat for 5 minutes.
  • Check the salmon with a knife to make sure it is fully cooked, continue cooking until no longer translucent.
