"This drink was developed by a frat bro back in the '60's name of Les Tipton. Les if you read this forgive me. He was the most impressive javilin man I ever knew! It's a 3-2-1 recipe and tastes so innocent.... Beware! Tastes like Coke with lime until you hit the third one and then you are in total trouble! Make sure it's a pretty glass.... LOL hopefully you can remember it."

ingredients
- 4 1⁄2 ounces rum (3 shots)
- 3 ounces vodka (2 shots)
- 1 fluid ounce Creme de Cacao
- Coke
- lime
directions
- In a tall glass combine the rum, vodka, and Creme de Cacao.
- Add some ice.
- Squeeze a quarte lime over all.
- Fill with Coke.
- Stir.

HOly Moly! What was I thinking making a drink invented by a college boy! I made a half recipe thinkinj I woudl be okay. Rjong. I can barely type. I wonder if Les passed any of his college essays. I'm finally posting recipes after years of using this site. I want to be able to access treasured recipes without lugging a ton of books south with me when I move to Lake Chapala in Mexico.
Recently retired after 35 years teaching Algebra to 8th graders. I learned to cook at my mother's knee (and Julia Child expanded my vision). She was a 1st generation Swedish-American. Christmas was when we immersed outselves in the Swedish culture and food. Many of the recipes I have recently posted are from her hand-written notes and recipes. My one real regret is that she would never write down the "juice" she used to make pickled herring.
Favorite cookbook? I have over 100 or so. I love reading recipes.
