  1. my mom made these for us as kids, and i make them for my kids. i line the bun with pepperoni, to keep them from getting soggy, and sometimes i substitute smoked sausage for hot dogs. either way, everyone loves them!

  2. Yummy!!! I have a pizzazz pizza oven and just lay them on that, if the bottom buns are getting too done I switch to just the upper so the cheese will melt better!!! I Love these!

  3. I thought my family was the only one that had these for a quick meal. i've mentioned it to people and there like thats weird how do you make them. All i do is split the bun and add pizza sauce then the hotdog and cheese (i like monterey and mozzarella and of course parmesan cheese)then i pop them into a 350 oven til melted then i put them under the broil til bubbly. These are perfect for a birthday party cause the kids can make their own and add different toppings pineapple is really good and so are sauted mushrooms. Thanks for posting

  4. My 10 YO made these as his weekly dinner. They were easy to make and tasty to eat. I would suggest spreading the sauce on the bun, then hotdogs, and then the cheese. Because the sauce on ours got a bit overdone while waiting for the cheese to melt. He printed this recipe to add to his monthly plans. Thanks!
