Toasty Deviled Ham Sandwiches

ingredients
- 1 (4 1/4 ounce) can deviled ham (like Underwood brand)
- 1 tablespoon dill relish, drained (more or less to taste)
- 1⁄4 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 slices bread (left-over hamburger buns or kaiser rolls work great)

- 2 slices garden-ripe tomatoes

Substitute
- 1⁄4 cup Velveeta cheese, cubed very small
directions
- Mix the first 3 ingredients together.
- Spread onto 2 slices of bread.
- Pop into the broiler for just a few minutes, watching to make sure they don't burn.
- Add tomatoes if using. If you desire to broil the tomatoes, broil the spread and bread a little first, then add the tomatoes and broil a little longer to desired doneness.
- Serve hot with some tomato soup and enjoy!
