Toffee Bars (Or Nut Bars)

"A wonderful, graham cracker based chocolate toffee bar that will delight your taste buds! I'm still trying to discover who brought these to our office Cookie Swap party! They were kind enough to share the recipe, so I'm sharing it as well. The version I had was with nuts, so I don't even know if there was any toffee in it!"

  1. These were really good; I made the 'toffee' version, and they are delish! A little chocolate, some toffee bits - how could you go wrong? I'm glad I didn't make the whole recipe, as I would just eat them all myself! Thanks for sharing a great recipe, gracefire.

  2. As another reviewer noted, this makes more topping than really needed for one large cookie sheet full, so consider having another half-sheet on hand. All ingredients need to be in place because it goes together quickly once hot. Final result is irresistably rich. Made for PAC.

  3. Absolutely fantastic & so easy to make! I must have used the wrong size pan because there was way more liquid than needed & some of the bars' bottoms were soggy. Overall, this is an EXCELLENT recipe, very tasty & impressive looking, too! Thanks!

I discovered Recipezaar looking for a Wendy's Chili Clone. I found one, and it was GOOD! I love how Recipezaar shows the nutritional breakdown next to the recipes.
