- 2 bay leaves
- 4 drops Tabasco sauce
- 5 tablespoons finely chopped onions
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 7 1⁄2 cups tomato juice
- 4 tablespoons gelatin
- 1 1⁄3 cups cold water
- 4 tablespoons vinegar
directions
- Combine bay leaves, Tabasco sauce, onion, salt and tomato juice.
- Simmer 10 minutes.
- Soften gelatin in cold water,.
- Dissolve in juice mixture.
- Add vinegar.
- Strain and Jell.
