ingredients
- 3 (11 ounce) cans tomato bisque soup
- 2 1⁄2 cups half-and-half
- 2 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 dash Tabasco sauce
- 2 teaspoons basil
- 1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon dill
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon tarragon
- 1 bay leaf
- 1⁄4 cup dry sherry
- 1 (16 ounce) can lump crabmeat
directions
- Place all ingredients in a 3 quart sauce pan except the crab meat & sherry and bring to a boil while constantly stirring. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
- Remove sauce pan from heat and add lump crab meat & sherry.
- Return to heat and simmer 15 minutes more, stirring occasionally.
- Remove bay leaf. ENJOY!
