Directions

  1. Heat oil and saute onions.
  2. When brown add tomatoes.
  3. Cook 3 minutes and add spices.
  4. Add rice and stir.
  5. Cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Add water and bring close to a boil.
  7. Cover and lower heat to about half way (medium).
  8. Cook till water disappears and holes form in the rice.
