- 1⁄2 cup shortening
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon clove
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1⁄2 cup raisins
- 1⁄2 cup nuts (YOUR CHOICE)

- CREAM SHORTENING AND SUGAR.
- PUT BAKING SODA IN THE CAN OF SOUP.
- STIR INTO SUGAR AND SHORTENING.
- SIFT AND ADD DRY INGREDIENTS.
- STIR IN RAISINS AND NUTS.
- BAKE AT 350 IN A GREASED 9X12 INCH PAN FOR 30 MINUTES.
