Tootsie Rolltini

"This is from "The Everything Cocktail Parties and Drinks Book" by Cheryl Charming. "If you find yourself wondering about this martini, rest assured that as weird as it sounds, it does taste exactly like a Tootsie Roll. Taste the two together and compare---if you dare.""

  1. I have to disagree with coleen, this really does taste like a tootsie roll!!! I used the dark and, that, maybe the difference in the two drinks. Thanks for sharing your recipe Engrossed!! Made for the Gimme 5 Tag!!

  2. I can't say that this tasted like a tootsie roll to me, but then I only had light creme de cocao. I was told there really isn't a taste difference between the light and the dark, but I'm no expert. The orange taste still came through more than the chocolate in mine. Nevertheless, I did really like it!

  3. It seemed so strange mixing these ingredients together but I was floored when I tasted it. Exactly like a tootsie roll. But be warned, this one is not for the kiddies! Great cocktail Engrossed!

  4. I really like this drink. It reminds me of this drink recipe#228730 for the taste of coffee and orange juice together :P I didn't do it in a martini glass cause the quantity is too much or my martini glass is too small lol Thanks Engrossed. Made for Beverage tag.
