Tortilla Cheesy Pinwheels

"This is a quick and easy to make appetizer. They go fast!! This is a great potluck treat. Servings are approximate, depends on how many each person eats, but I have never felt like "I didn't bring enough"."

  • Mix all of the filling ingredients (everything but the tortillas) together thoroughly.
  • Divide the filling and spread evenly over the tortillas.
  • Roll up the tortillas.
  • Tightly wrap individually in plastic wrap, twisting the ends.
  • Refrigerate for several hours.
  • (I make the day ahead and refrigerate overnight but they taste great within a couple of hours).
  • Unwrap and cut in slices, approx 1/2" thick.

  1. Very tasty! I added taco seasoning for extra flavor. The second time I made them I added deli turkey meat which was very good! Thanks for a great recipe!

  2. I made these tasty pinwheels for a family party and everyone adored them! This keeper recipe makes enough to fill four 10-inch tortillas. Thanks!

  3. These are addictive little teasers! I halved the recipe for a smaller appetizer and they were all eaten and greatly enjoyed! Another reviewer added some taco seasoning, so I did the same for a hint of spice. It made a great addition. Thanks for this easy crowd-pleaser!

  5. Love it!!! I agree with other posters to use taco seasoning for spice and then you can serve with a small salsa bowl for dipping, sooooo good! This is a must have for any potluck or family gathering. Thanks for a great recipe.
