Directions

  1. Preheat over to 350 F.
  2. Cream butter and sugar together.
  3. Add milk and Egg, stirring well after each addition.
  4. Sift the Flour, 1 tsp Baking Soda, baking powder and Cocoa into the Butter mixture.
  5. Stir until well combined.
  6. Add the 1/2 teaspoons Baking soda and the water, pour into the cake mixture and mix.
  7. Put in an 8 x 8 inch square pan and cook until toothpick when inserted into the center comes out clean.
