  • In mixing bowl combine milk, granola, sugar, butter, molasses, egg and apple blend well.
  • In large bowl combine remaining ingredients.
  • Add milk mixture and stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.
  • Spoon into 18 lined or greased muffin cups.
  • Bake at 400 for 20 minutes.

  1. Brought a dozen to my husbands work and got rave reviews. Substituted peanuts, sunflower seeds and raisins with pecans, salted pumpkin seeds (omitted the salt in the recipe) and dried cranberries. Baked for 18 minutes, thanks for a great recipe using up granola!

  4. Ooh . . . these are sinfully good. I didn't have any peanuts so I threw in some walnuts. I also had a little cherry pie filling left from another recipe so I rinsed off the cherries, chopped them up and threw them it for a pretty burst of color.

Tweaks

  1. These were wonderful! I loved the texture, moist with lots of crunchy and chewy bits. Great combination of flavors, not so sweet it tastes like cake but sweet enough to want to eat all of em'.:-)I think I'll try them next time with half whole wheat flour and dried cherries instead of raisins.
